Updated Linux kernels for Reliance Nitro 5.0.4 and 4.2.5

In a process of continuous improvement, Reliance Nitro has been updated to support the most recent Linux kernel (4.19), which was released on October 22 in 2018.

Customers who need to upgrade to Linux kernel 4.18 or 4.19 should update their Reliance Nitro to match this release. There was no change to the on media format for either of these Reliance Nitro releases.

No additional bug fixes were implemented in this release, which is focused entirely on the most recent Linux kernel.

What to do if this affects you:

Upgrade to Reliance Nitro 5.0.4 or 4.2.5, which have been made to available to you.

All licensees with a valid support contract are eligible to receive this update at no charge. Please email your request, including the version you are using, to support@datalight.com
