Performance - FlashFX Pro vs DOC on WinCE 4.2

This paper compares the flash management software solution of Datalight FlashFX™ Pro to the hardware solution of M-Systems DiskOnChip® 2000. At the time of this publishing, FlashFX Pro is running on NOR flash while DOC is NAND flash. Since NOR flash has a parallel interface by design (looking like DRAM), it offers faster reads and slower writes, while NAND flash has a serial interface and thus faster writes and slower reads.
